Life.
Is...interesting.
It's been incredibly hot today (for England anyway). The one day when I decide to wear all black. Clever idea from me there..
Work was amusing today. I was just sat at my desk and my boss is talking to Laura who sits next to me. Any way my boss goes "Well in my mind.." half way through what ever she's saying. And I just completely cracked up! Way to make myself look like a crazy person.. There is a reason I laugh whenever anyone says "in my mind". It's all down to one episode of Nevermind the Buzzcocks featuring Pete Burns. He spent pretty much the whole show answering questions going "in my mind". I couldn't stop laughing for the whole show!
Well I managed to compose myself and then got back to work. Only to end up throwing my tippex halfway across the room when my boss was talking to her boss! Whoops!
At least I know I'm not the only one who is a bit bonkers. Kate was eating an orange this afternoon and decided to turn round and smile at me while she was eating it. Only to reveal that she'd put the whole slice of orange in her mouth so the orange peel was where you should've seen her teeth!! She also managed to get some of the orange in her hair.. God knows how! But I did what any friend/monkey would have done and picked it out for her to be met with an exclamation of "I was saving that for later!!" Haha

And now I am off to die from the heat while I attempt some salsa dancing on my lonesome!

P.S. I just got back from dancing and I look like I've had a shower!!!! EW! Why hasn't my dance teacher learned of the great invention that is air conditioning?!
P.P.S. Please go and look at this guy's beatiful artwork :) And NO I don't just like his artwork because of his beautiful body! How dare you think I'm so shallow!

Whoops...
SO. I pretty much fail at updating this thing. It's been what.. 2 months?!.. EEK.
I'm sorry.. People have been distracting me with their moaning and general things like that that annoy the crap out of me.
Anywho. On to the amazing website that I just found :)
It's called PlasticLand and I think I'm falling in love with it.
I've already picked out so many things that I want to buy!
The most wanted of these being this gorgeous pair of vintage inspired shoes. I think I would cry if I got them and they didn't fit or something. Haha :)
Trust me you will find something you love on there. Theres so many things to choose from!!
I've also become quite addicted to Twitter.. So if you feel like following me go here!! Follow meee!
And I just downloaded TweetDeck today. I think that might have been a mistake.. I'm tweeting so much more now!! Haha!
If you don't mind losing some of your social life to Twitter then you should definitely go and download TweetDeck here. You can also use it to see when people update their Facebook status! :)
Right I think I'm going to go and find some food to nibble on..

Etsy is my new best friend!
I don't think I have ever been more excited than when I have look around on Etsy to see what I will find this time. It's a treasure trove full of wonderful handmade and vintage items and I wish I had an unlimited amount of money so I could buy every beautiful item that I see!!
However today I decided I would look specifically for princess-y items. And there are some exquisite examples out there. Bear in mind though that I found so many handmade items that I didn't even start looking in the vintage section for fear my head may explode from jealousy that I didn't have those things!
I'll start off with this adorable little bracelet from jacarandadesigns.
With it's dainty and elegant design I think this would make any girl feel like she had something special wrapped round her wrist.
I feel this is the appropriate time to unleash my love of lockets. Big or small, fancy or simple, I adore them all and every time i wear one it makes me feel almost magical. Like there is something precious inside them, even if there isn't physically anything in there. I am sure I will be writing about this slight obsession many times however for now I shall restrain myself to featuring just two lovely examples I have found. The first gorgeous one is from BijouxOdalisque and is something that I shall probably only be able to dream about.
However this one from poetsummer is slightly more affordable.
Now on to the ultimate princess items that I have found and I would probably marry anyone who bought me both of these. Please don't do that though. It would be highly unlikely to work in the long run as it would be based on material possesions. ANYWHO, enough of my ramblings and on to this scrumptious looking tiara from acpetrille. Jewels and pearls galore, it is perfect for any princess. :)
And how could a princess post be complete without a mention of Disney. They know exactly how to create the perfect princess and ladysolo has replicated this perfectly in her Belle dress.

Hello!
Well this is my blog. I'm Viki, I am 18 and I live in England :) I was always a girly girl at heart but like most teenagers I went through what I thought was a "rebellious" stage where I turned slightly goth/emo. So many of my friends may be surprised at the content of this blog :P
The above picture is a card from sweetpeaink's Etsy store and is how I was inspired to write this blog. I will be writing mostly about many girly things that will make most men feel queasy at the sentimentality of it all :) Everything which will make us girls feel good about ourselves from clothing and jewellery to tasty treats and films and books, anything you could dream of really to make you feel like a princess! Who doesn't need a bit of pampering every now and again?
